Quizengly (“we”, “us”) provides a study app that turns your topics, documents, and notes into quiz games. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. If you have questions, contact us at carlosthompson80@yahoo.com.

Information we collect

• Account info: your email address, an optional display name, and a password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google.
• Content you create: study sets, questions, and the text extracted from files you choose to import.
• Usage data: your progress, games played, streaks, and in-app activity.
• Device identifier: a device ID used to link guest activity to your account and to prevent abuse.
• Purchases: your subscription and in-app purchase status. Payments are processed by Google Play — we do not receive your card details.

How we use information

• To provide and improve the app: create and store your sets, run games, track progress, and manage your subscription.
• To generate study content with AI (see below).
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

AI features

To generate quizzes and power the aYo study assistant, the topics, imported text, and questions you provide are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes them on our behalf to return study content. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models through our API.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the app (such as our hosting provider and the AI provider above), and where required by law. We do not sell your data.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all of its data at any time, directly in the app: Profile → Delete account. You may also request deletion by emailing carlosthompson80@yahoo.com. We delete your personal data within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is legally required.

Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), to protect your data.

Children

Quizengly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
